This past month, we had the opportunity to sit down with Deacon Bill White to reflect on two meaningful gatherings centered on the life and legacy of Nicholas Black Elk. Early in the month, the Catholic Congress: Spirit of Nicholas Black Elk brought people together for prayer, fellowship, and reflection. Later in the month, the community gathered again for the annual Black Elk Mass and Pilgrimage, a powerful journey of faith and remembrance.
