The Egg-cellent Passage: From Coop to Cafeteria

Our Food Sovereignty Department gave us a behind-the-scenes look at how we use fresh eggs from our chickens in the cafeteria. In this video, you’ll see the journey of an egg—from the chicken coop to the cafeteria pantry. The eggs are carefully cleaned, inspected, labeled, and stored in our walk-in cooler. We then follow our cafeteria staff as they prepare the eggs for the salad bar, where students and staff can enjoy them.
