Mahpiya Luta is thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by one of our very own educators. Paul, our Freshman and Senior English teacher, recently secured gold at the USA Paraclimbing National Championships in Oakland, California!
Competing in the Men’s RP1 Category, Paul displayed remarkable strength, skill, and determination—earning him a place on Team USA. His victory now paves the way for him to represent the United States in international World Cup events in Salt Lake City, France, and Austria, with the ultimate goal of competing at the Paraclimbing World Championships in Seoul, South Korea.
Paul’s dedication to both his students and his sport is truly inspiring. Whether he’s leading a classroom discussion or scaling a climbing wall, he exemplifies perseverance, passion, and excellence. His success is a testament to hard work and the power of believing in oneself.
